Through the Jim Joseph Foundation grant to Birthright Israel, Bay Area Tribe and Birthright Israel NEXT SF are under a major expansion.
We owe a big THANK YOU to all of you who have come to our events and supported us. Your enthusiasm has inspired some major players to get behind us and provide the support for us to fully expand Bay Area Tribe/ Birthright Israel NEXT SF and better serve our members.
In the coming months we will be: getting an office, hiring 5 fellows, training the fellows, coming out with a full schedule of events (not just one event a month anymore!)
In the interim we will be taking a short break from putting on events so that we can properly navigate the transition, get the right staff in place and bring everyone up to speed.
We hope you understand & we hope after this transition we will be in a better position to serve the Bay Area young adults who love Bay Area Tribe and Birthright Israel so much!

Bay Area Tribe is a
grassroots community organization for Bay Area Jewish young adults. We are a group who plan
activities for other young Bay Area Jews with active lifestyles using our own unique BAT style.
As a grassroots group, BAT members come up with ideas each month for fun, interactive events. As a BAT member, you'll have the opportunity to plan events together with BAT leadership.
